Gonna wash the size right out of my clothes...

Just got back from the "Wash Cafe" as the laundry facilities at the hostel are broken. The very solicitous worker there took it upon himself to put our clothes in the dryer while we were out getting a bite to eat. We came back to our clothes not on "low temperature" but "normal temperature" and the "extra dry setting". It's not our fault we stepped out for a bit! The wash cycle alone lasted 40 minutes! And who knows how long that dryer was on for!

Now I have a shirt that may or may not fit, and my pants thats were just above the ankle look like they might sit mid-calf. Laura may have capris when she had none before, and a top that she made need assistance getting into.

Honestly. Can't wait for Vienna. We won't have enough money to eat, which will be good since maybe we'll shrink to fit our clothes, as we certainly don't have the funds to buy new ones.

Dad told me to go read over my comments with my glasses on. Lesson for the day...admit that you are old and need your glasses at all times. Sorry for the spelling errors...typing errors...

When you make your new clothes from the hostel curtains .....remember....these are a few of your favourite things...and go and climb every mountain......

Have loads of fun....love Mom

I remember that guy. Couldn't speak a lick of english, but did know some italian... go figure.

You're in Salzburg right now, aren't you? How were the ice caves? How about your unofficial Sound of Music tour? Were the hills alive with the sound of the IPOD?

Enjoy girls, and I hate to ask, how many photos are you up to at this point?

Hey, if you're still in Vienna, there's a pretty affordable Austrian restuarant (called Mozart something or other) not too far from Wombats - a little closer to Hostel Ruthenmeister (or whatever it's called). Otherwise there's falafel and streetmeat a plenty.

Ciao.

Ps. there's a pretty decent gelateria (spelling???) on that main street you walk down from the train station too... but walking north rathert than south.

And now I wonder why I didn't lose any weight last month.... ;)

For all those interested, Wombat's Hostel (the girls' Vienna accomodations) are great, but the computers are often down, and even when up and running, there can be quite the queue. Also, the Youth Hostel in Salzburg has only one computer available, and the cost in quite high (something like a euro for 10 min), so the girls may not be inclined to use computers much unless they go off to an independent internet cafe (I found only one of them in Salz). But they're definitely having an awesome time (yeah, I was there only a month ago myself, and I'm still jealous).
